Leslie is the friendly face and thoughtful organizer behind many of the client experiences at Right Direction Financial. As Client Services and Marketing Coordinator, she loves creating meaningful connections and helping clients feel genuinely cared for, whether through a warm conversation, a thoughtful event, or the little personal touches that make people feel remembered and appreciated. Leslie also works closely alongside Laura, assisting with meeting preparation and insurance coordination to help ensure clients receive a seamless and well organized experience.

Leslie Sommer brings warmth, leadership, and an exceptional level of care to her role at Right Direction Financial. With a lifelong passion for helping others, Leslie has built her career around creating meaningful relationships and ensuring people feel genuinely supported and cared for. Her natural ability to connect with others comes from years of experience serving people in many different stages of life, from working in hospitality during her schooling years, to caring for elderly clients living with Alzheimer’s, to raising her four children. These experiences shaped the compassion, patience, and understanding she brings to every client interaction today. Leslie plays an integral role in shaping the client experience at Right Direction Financial. Her ability to anticipate needs, stay organized, and keep things moving behind the scenes makes her an important part of the firm’s day-to-day operations and client care.
Outside of work, Leslie enjoys spending time with her husband Oliver, her children and their two dogs, whether that’s out on long hikes in nature or relaxing at home. She loves gardening, reading, and challenging herself in the gym alongside her sister as they work toward new athletic goals. A frequent visitor to Vancouver Island, Leslie treasures time spent near the ocean and looks forward to doing even more travelling in the years ahead as life slows down a little and new adventures begin.
